Raspberry crisp from JJ Bean. This little baked treat was infinitely better than I expected it to be!

This is the Calabrese pizza I had at the Hampstead Pizza Express in London. The Calabrese is described as "Our hottest pizza yet. Slices of spicy Italian Calabrese sausage D.O.P with fiery green chillies, roquito peppers and hot soft sausage - topped with fior di latte mozzarella, watercress tossed in basil pesto. Inspired by Francesco's grandmother, this pizza is served on a hand-stretched rectangular base - finished with Calabrian oregano and grana padano". It actually was really hot! Definitely one of the better pizzas I've had but at £11(almost $16 USD), it was the most expensive meal I had in London, though it also served as spicy breakfast the next morning. Pizza Express seems just high end enough of a franchise that the food is good quality and they benefit from the atmosphere of an actual restaurant but the prices aren't ridiculous.
Hi! Our names are Cory and Lorena, we live in Vancouver BC and this is an offshoot of our original multi-purpose blog, Ganymede Kids. We realized that we have enough food-related content that it actually warrants its own food blog so here it is. You can view all the food posts from Ganymede Kids here: http://ganymedekids.blogspot.com/search/label/Food. We'll be posting about food we make as well as food we eat at restaurants in Vancouver or while traveling or any general snacking, really. Other than photos, you can expect recipes and probably some posts about weird foreign candy so hopefully your interests include some of those things! The name "Snack the Planet" is a reference to the 1995 unintentional comedy hit "Hackers" and if you haven't seen that movie, what the heck!?
